Minutes~November 19, 2008
Meeting was called to order at 7:02 p.m.
Members present:
William Clay, Allan Clemons, David Harris, Laura Kemmett, John Kemmett, Patty Norton, Robert Sears,Bill Strait

Minutes of the October 15, 2008 were approved: 7-0-0 ~
Old Business:~
The web site was discussed and the consensus was to have a link similar to Bridgewater’s. Dave will work with Tom Mosher and Merri on it. Would include having the minutes posted to it.
Bill Clay passed around the letterhead to finalize the copy. Our telephone number was added 781-293-5644 ext 102 , Fax # 781-294-0884 and email address: cpchanson@gmail.com~
A discussion regarding the current tax bills and interaction with the assessors, treasurer and taxpayers. Patty and Bob had handled a few telephone calls conserning taxpayer inquiries of the CPA surcharge. Consensus was that it isn't our area of concern.
~ Discussion of the groundwork for our application process continued using the Bridgewater CPC as a model.
It was decided that the pre-application sould clearly state that that it is not an acceptance to the CPA funds
Need to edit so that Hanson, dates of acceptance, etc. replace those of Bridgewater in the text
Want to be identified as Hanson CPC

Bob will contact Bridgewater CPC to attend some of their future meetings ~

New Business:
Group is responsible for being prepared to discuss and edit Page 4 app thru page 9 app. on December 10
John, Bob, Dave and Bill C. will attend the open meeting law presentation on December 2, at 6 pm, in the Selectmen’s room. Dave will post the meeting.
A discussion for informational purposes only regarding the 192 acre parcel of land on West Washington Street took place. --information supplied by Phil Lindquist through Bob.~
Next Meeting : December 10 at 7 pm in the Selectmen’s room (changed from the 17th because of Holiday conflicts)
